The Department of Mechanical Engineering, University Institute
of Engineering & Technology (UIET), Panjab University is going to host a “National
Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering (NCAME-2011)” on May 20 and 21, 2011 at
the UIET premises.  As per the Chairman of the NCAME-2011, Dr. Harmesh, the event is
being hosted by the institute for a follow up of the latest advances in Mechanical
Engineering, strengthen the relationship between academics and entrepreneurs, exchange
of information and expertise amongst participants and focus on engineering education in
the new millennium.  Number of distinguished researchers and practicing engineers will
present research papers and share their experiences in the conference, Dr. Renu Vig,
Director, UIET informed.
