A National Seminar is being organized on Literary Contribution of Dr. Amarjit Singh Kaang, an eminent scholar of Punjabi Language and
Literature on the occasion of his 2nd death anniversary by Haryana Sahit Academy Haryana
Government on  January 11th, 2013 in ICSSR Hall of Panjab University, at 2.00 P.M.
Eminent personalities from various universities are coming to pay  tribute to Dr.
Amarjit Singh Kaang. Dr. D.D. Sandhu Vice-Chancellor, Kurukshetra University, will
inaugurate the seminar. Professor Arun Kumar Grover, Vice-Chancellor of Panjab
University, will be Chief Guest on the occasion. Prof. Satish Kumar Verma will present
the key note address on the occasion. The Seminar will be presided by Dr. Jaspal Singh,
Vice-Chancellor of Punjabi University, Patiala. Professor Shavinder Singh Gill,
Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid University, Faridkot will deliver the Valedictory address.
Dr. Deepak Manmhan Singh, Director, World Punjabi Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala
and Dr. Rawail Singh, Secretary Punjabi Academy Delhi will be the Guest of Honour.
Distinguished Scholars Dr. Harsimran Singh Randhawa, Dr. R. S. Bhatti, Dr. Ramesh Kumar,
Shri. C.R. Modgil, Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Dr. Gurpal Singh, Dr. Gurdev
Singh, Dr. Kirandeep Singh, Dr. Balwinder Singh Thind, Dr. Maninder Singh Kaang, will
present their papers in the seminar.
