Roll numbers have also been put on the University website

 

CHANDIGARH-May 17, 2013: It is for the information of public in general and students in
particular appearing in M.A./M.Sc./ M.Com/ M.F.C/ M.P.Ed 2nd & 4th Semester examinations
commencing w.e.f. May 21, 2013 that Panjab University has dispatched all Roll numbers
through Registered Post.
    The Roll numbers have also been put on the University website: www.puchd.ac.in for the
convenience of the candidates. All those students who have not received their Roll
Numbers may download the same from P.U. website and it will be valid for only one paper.
For second paper, the candidate will have to visit the Panjab University, Examination
Branch to get the Roll No. alongwith one photograph.
To download the Roll No. from the University website, the students have to follow the
under mentioned procedure:
1.     Go to PU website: http://puchd.ac.in
2.     Click on “Examinations” hyperlink.
3.     Click on “Print Duplicate Roll No.(April, 2013 Annual)” hyperlink
4.     Enter Candidate’s name, Father’s name and click on Search Button
5.     All the details along with ROLL NUMBER will be displayed on the screen.
6.     Click on candidates’s Roll No to print Provisional Roll No. Card.

             It is further directed to all Principal-cum-Chief Coordinators and Centre
Superintendents to allow such cases only after verification of Identity Proof along with
attested Photograph.
    The University has also put the list of defaulters on the University website. The
defaulter candidates may deposit the required documents with the concerned official of
the examination branch in the University before commencement of examination and can get
the Roll Numbers.
    The Examination Branch of the Panjab University will remain open on Saturday and Sunday
i.e. on 18th & 19th May, 2013 for Roll No. enquiries, informed by Controller of
Examinations.
