Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh Department of History today organised the annual Hari Ram Gupta Memorial Lecture 2014-15 at the department.

          Director, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla Prof Chetan Singh delivered the lecture on topic of “Are Mountain Societies Essentially Democratic?”  

        IISER, Mohali Prof. Meera Nanda chaired the session. Chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Prof Devi Sirohi, Chairperson, Department of History, Prof Indu Banga also participated in the lecture.
