LL.B (3 year) Course Entrance Test: PU announces traffic routes for the PU Campus examination centres...

 

Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has issued traffic advisory and certain important instructions for the candidates of LL.B (3 year) Course Entrance Test-2015, which is to be organized on June 21 at PU.

As many as 4,493 candidates will be appearing for LL.B (3 year) Course Entrance Test-2015 at the University in the one day long entrance examinations. As many as 16 centers have been set up to conduct entrance examination on June 21.

Apart from foreign nationals/NRIs, there are 202 seats each in morning and evening session in Department of Laws, PU Chandigarh; 58 seats in Regional Centre Muktsar; 72 seats in evening session in Regional Centre, Ludhiana and 60+3 seats UILS, PU Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur.

PU Controller of Examinations has issued certain guidelines and directions for the smooth conduct of the examination. PU has also announced the traffic routes for the PU Campus examinations centres, so that the candidates could enter from the appropriate gate and use the designated route only. The exercise has been carried out to avoid any rush/jam in the PU Campus, PU Spokesman informed.

PU Spokesman informed that the students appearing for LL.B (3 year) entrance test at centres Chandigarh 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 12 should enter the campus from the PU Gate No-1 adjoining the PGI gate. The students appearing at examination centres Chandigarh 1, 8, 9, 10 and 11 should enter the campus from the PU Gate No-2 adjoining the Sector 15. The students appearing at centres Chandigarh 13 and 14 should enter the campus from the PU Gate No-3 adjoining the Sector 25, Chandigarh. Two Examination centres i.e. Chandigarh 15 and 16 have been set up at UIAMS building and Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital at PU South Campus, Sector 25.

        PU Spokesman informed that the students have been asked to reach their respective test centers atleast half an hour before the start of the test. No candidate reporting 15 minutes after the start of the test would be allowed to seat for the test. The candidates must bring their admit card with them, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the test center.

The candidates must bring only black ball/gel pens with them for answering the questions. The use of calculators will not be allowed. No candidate would be allowed to leave the examination hall/room before the expiry of the time allowed for the examination. The candidates are not permitted to carry any telecommunication equipment such as mobile phone, pager, wireless set, cordless phone etc. inside the examination hall.

There will be negative marking i.e. 25 percent marks will be dedicated for every wrong answer. 30 minutes extra should be given to the visually handicapped/physically handicapped candidates after one hour (as approved by the Vice Chancellor).
