Panjab University today made another land mark by commencing
online admissions based on CET -2011.  The online form is made available today at
http://cetadmissions.puchd.ac.in/  along with guidelines and help to fill the form.  
Every student needs to fill the online form and submit along with documents for
verification before 30th June, 2011 (5.00 p.m.)  at Department of Environmental
Studies.  The complete online application has been developed at Computer Center,
Panjab University, Chandigarh, said Dr.Tankeshwar, Director of the Computer Center.  
It is for the first time that the University is proceeding with online admissions.

The online admission will be made for following 19 courses:

3     B.A. L.L.B (Ludhiana)
4     B.A. L.L.B (Hoshiarpur)
5     B.Sc. (Tourism Management)
6     B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel
       Management)
7     B. Pharma
8     B.Sc (Hons. School) Biotechnology
9     B.Sc (Hons. School) Biophysics
10     B.Sc (Hons. School) Botany  
11     B.Sc (Hons. School) Microbiology  
12     B.Sc (Hons. School) Zoology  
13     B.Sc (Hons. School) Anthropology  
14     B.Sc (Hons. School) Chemistry  
15     B.Sc (Hons. School) Geology  
16     B.Sc (Hons. School) Physics
17     B.Sc (Hons. School) Mathematics
18     B.Sc (Hons. School) Mathematics &

The admission will be based on merit-cum-preference basis. Merit shall be calculated
on the basis of CET marks and marks obtained in qualifying examination and weightages
as per information given in Handbook of Information. Candidate who qualify CET
entrance test and interested in taking admission in the above courses must apply
online and fill the preferences of course in which he/she is eligible. Candidates
should choose carefully the preferences.

The date, time and departments in which students need to report for admission will be
