CHANDIGARH-July 1, 2011: This is for the information of the public in general and
students in particular that the Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University has allowed 50%
concession in the fee to the seekers of Special Chance for admission to the
examination of Undergraduate/Postgraduate Courses, to take examination in Re-
appear/Compartment in the Examinations to be held in Sept./Dec. 2011 for the following
categories:
1.     Scheduled Castes
2.     Schedules Tribes
3.     Physical Handicapped
4.     Blind students
5.     Below Poverty line
However, the Examination Fee of Rs.10,000/- and Rs.800/- per Additional paper will be
charged from other students.  The last date for submission of Examination Forms will
be same as per the schedule approved by the University for Sept./Dec. 2011
examinations and to be announced for April 2012 Examinations.  The students can also
visit the University website: www.puchd.ac.in  for detailed information,  Dean Student
Welfare informed.
