An International Seminar on “Coinage of the Imperial Guptas 
and their contemporaries: New perspectives” is being held at the ICSSR Complex of the 
Panjab University on November 11 and 12.  Organised by the department of Ancient 
Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, the Seminar will be inaugurated by Prof. R.C. 
Sobti, Vice-Chancellor at 10 am.  Dr Ellen M. Raven of University of Leiden, 
Netherlands will deliver the keynote address, Prof. N.K. Ojha, Chairman and 
Prof. Ashvini Agrawal, Seminar director said.
