Professor R.C. Sobti will be conferred the PCMA Award
for Excellence in Higher Education-2011 by the Punjab Commerce and Management
Association (PCMA) as per a communiqué received from the PCMA Executive Committee.
This award is being given to Prof. Sobti in recognition of his immense contribution to
the field of Management of Higher Education.  “His contribution towards the
development of Panjab University as its Vice-Chancellor is a matter of pride for the
entire north India”, said Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, President, PCMA.  
The award will be presented on December 16, 2011 at 6.00 p.m. at Khalsa College,
Patiala on the occasion of the International Business Conference-2011.
     The PCMA confers this award every year to recognize the contribution of
eminent educational administrators who have created excellence in administration and
development of higher education.
