CHANDIGARH–January 24, 2012:  It is hereby notified that the Vice-Chancellor has
sanctioned a Special Casual Leave to all the employees including Daily Wagers
(Teaching/Non-teaching) of Panjab University Campus, who are registered Voters and are
to cast their votes in the Assembly Elections in the State of Punjab on January 30,
2012.
    The Institutions/Regional Centres/Offices/affiliated Colleges of the Panjab
University located in Punjab State will remain closed on January 30, 2012 on this
account within the meaning of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881.
