The Department of Indian Theatre, Panjab University is
ready with its annual production “Neon Jarh” written by Ajmer Singh Aulakh, Designed &
Directed by Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Assistant Professor. “Neon Jarh” is a play that compels
us to acknowledge the unfortunate reality of female foeticide which has not diminished
in the present times where we talk about progressive thought process.
This production involves 25 talented students from the Department of Indian Theatre.
The show will open on February 7, and will continue up to February 13, 2012 at 6.30
P.M. daily.  The duration of the play is 1 hour and 40 minutes, the Chairperson of
Indian Theatre department informed.
