Scheme of Written Test for Class ‘B’ Posts:

There will be a written Objective Type Test of two hours duration.  The test will have 100 questions with following break up:

1.       

Knowledge of routine office work, such as preparation of salary bills, maintenance of service records including the account of various kinds of leave and understanding of the other related office work.

2.       

Operational knowledge of Computer and Computer Typing, including particularly MS Word and MS Excel.

3.       

Skill in English language (both spoken and written) enabling the incumbent to respond and correspond independently.

4.       

Basic general awareness.

There will be no negative marking.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Scheme of Written test for Class ‘C’ Posts:

There will be a Written Objective type test of one hour duration.  The test will have 50 questions in all consisting of 15 questions of General Awareness, 15 questions of Basic Arithmetic Ability, 10 questions testing knowledge of English language and Comprehension and 10 questions of either Hindi or Punjabi.  There will be no negative marking.
