Department of Evening Studies, Panjab University in
collaboration with ICSSR for is organizing two-day Seminar on the  topic “History
Society and Punjabi Novel” at Golden Jubilee Hall, P.U. Campus on February 14 and 15,
2012.   Professor R.C.  Sobti, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University will inaugurate this
seminar at 11.00 a.m.  Professor G.K. Chadha, President, South Asia University, New
Delhi will be the Chief Guest.  Shri Ramesh Vinayak, Resident Editor, Hindustan Times,
Chandigarh will be the Guest of Honour and Prof. Rana Nayyar, Chairman, Department of
English & Cultural Studies, Panjab University will deliver the Keynote Address.
 
    In this seminar on February 14, 2012  research papers will be presented by

preside over.  Dr. Mukesh Kumar Arora, Head, Department of Hindi, SCD Govt. College,
Ludhiana and Fellow and Syndic, Panjab University will be the Guest of Honour on this
occasion and Professor B.S. Ghuman, Dean Faculty of Arts, Panjab University will
deliver the Valedictory Address, Professor Indu Tewari and Professor Gurpal Singh,
