The great advancement in the field of Psychology has
its direct application in various aspects of life. This conference is the second to be
organized under the aegis of Asian Association of Applied Psychology.  Professor Lars-
eric Unestahl, Vice- Chancellor, Scandinavian International University, Sweden will be
delivering the keynote address on the main theme of conference.  He will be conducting
a one day training program on Enhancing Life skills, also on February 26, 2012.  
Professor R.C. Sobti, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University is being a perfect host by
supporting the conference and delivering inaugural lecture on genetics and human
wellbeing.  Professor Michel Gagne from Canada is giving a lecture on goal
achievement. Professor C.N. Daftuar, C.E.O of Salahkar Consultants, Pune; Professor
N.K. Chadha, Head, Department of Psychology, University of Delhi; and Professor Akbar
Husain from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh are among more than a score of
professors from Chandigarh sharing their research experiences and vision with the
participants. More than 550 delegates have registered, 330 have given abstracts of
their papers and two special panel discussions are slated for the conference.
