The Department of Geology, Panjab University is organizing
Second I.C. Pandey Memorial Lecture on “Application Computer – Graphics methods for
strain estimation in rocks” and Workshop on “Artificial Recharge and Rainwater
Harvesting” on Friday, March 9, 2012 in Seminar Hall of the department of Geology.  
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. D.C. Srivastava, Professor of Structural Geology,
Department of Earth Sciences, IIT, Roorkee.  Professor K.P. Singh will introduce the
gathering about the theme of the Workshop.  Dr. S.C. Dhiman, Chairman, Central Ground
Water Board (CGWB), New Delhi will deliver the keynote address and preside over the
function.   Professor Naresh Tuli will propose a vote of thanks.
