CHANDIGARH, November 19: Global Hydrogeological Solutions in collaboration with Geology Department of the Panjab University is organising a National Workshop on “Climate Change and Its Impact on Water Resources – Adaptation Issues” on Tuesday, November 23 at ICSSR Complex on the University campus. Professor R.C. Sobti, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University will inaugurate the workshop. Mr Som Pal, former member Planning Commission will be the Chief Guest. Dr D.K. Chadha, President, Global Hydrogeological Solutions, New Delhi will introduce the themes of the workshop. Mr D.K. Pande, Director (Exploration), O.N.G.C. and Dr S.C. Dhiman, Chairman CGWB and Guests of Honour will also address the participants in the workshop. Professor R.S. Loyal of the department of Geology of the University will propose the vote of thanks, informed Professor G.S. Gill, Chairman, department of Geology, P.U.
