CHANDIGARH: 27 August 2012: The Department of Defence & National Security Studies,
Panjab University is organizing one day workshop on ‘Promotion of Security in India’
on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11.20 a.m. at the ICSSR Complex, P.U. Campus.  Prof.
Arun Kumar Grover, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University will inaugurate this function
and His Excellency Shri Shekhar Dutt SM, the Hon’ble Governor of Chattisgarh will
preside over the function.  
The function will be further graced by Shri Arvind Gupta, Director General, Institute
of Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi, Lt. Gen. Sanjiv Chachra, Army Commander,
Western Command, Chandimandir, and Maj. Gen. R.K. Malhotra, Joint Secretary, National
Security Council Secretariat, New Delhi among others, Dr. Rakesh Datta, Professor &
Chairman of the department informed.
