CHANDIGARH – October 17, 2012: School of Punjab Studies, Panjab University and Dr.
Kesar Singh Kesar Memorial Committee is organizing Dr. Kesar Singh Kesar Memorial Lecture on
“Dalit Movement, Marxist and Sahitya Sirjan” on October 22, 2012 in the Auditorium of
Department of English, P.U. Campus.  Renowned Hindi Thinker, Professor Chouthi Ram from
Kanshi Hindu University, Varanashi will present his views on this subject.  Prof. Arun
Kumar Grover, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University will inaugurate this programme.  Prof.
Ramesh Kuntal Megh, former Professor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar will preside
over this function.  
        
        Renowned Novelist, Mittersen Meet; Dr. Satpal Sehgal, Desh Nirmohi (Editor, Pal
Pritipal); Prof. Nahar Singh; Prof. Jagjit Singh; Prof. Karamjit Singh; Prof. Baldev
Singh Dhaliwal; Dr. Bhiminder Singh; Prof. Surjit Judge; Dr. Rajnish Bahadur Singh; Dr.
Sarabjit Singh and Dr. Yograj will participate and present their viewpoints in this
progamme.  In this programme, Dr. Kesar Singh Kesar Memorial Committee will honour the
students of the Department of Punjabi, Panjab University who secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd
position.
