CHANDIGARH: January 28, 2013:Centre for Swami Vivekananda and Department of Education,
Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission Ashram,
Chandigarh is Organizing  Vivek Mahotsav Commemorating 150th Birth anniversary of Swami
Vivekananda. The four day programme includes Students’ Convention on 28th January, 2013,
Teachers Convention on “Reorienting Teachers for Value Education” on 29th January, 2013
at Ramakrishna Ashrama, Sector 15-B, Chandigarh. The inaugural address will be given by
Prof. Arun Grover, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof. Nandita,
Co-coordinator, CSVS & Chairperson Department of Education will deliver the Key Note
Address followed by special address by Mr. V.K.Singh. “Youth Wakening: Value education
Workshop” on 30th January, 2013 will be inaugurated by Prof.Dharmanand Sharma followed
by first academic session by Prof. H.P. Sah and Mr.Kishore Das. The speakers of second
session will be Prof. Nandita, Mrs. Jasvir Chahal and Dr.Shiojit Singh followed by a
technical session by Mr. Sudhir Baweja with team. The inaugural lecture of “Youth
empowerment: Leadership Development” Workshop on 31st January, 2013 will be delivered by
Mr.Vivek Attray. It will be followed by two academic sessions Valedictory address will
be given by Swami Anupamananda ji.  These programmes are Co-coordinated by Sh. Sudhir
Baweja & Dr. Latika Sharma.
