SSBUICET has been bestowed with the prestigious Technical Education quality
Improvement Programme (TEQIP-II),Sub component 1.1: Strengthening
Institutions to improve learning outcomes and employability of graduates by
Ministry of Human Resource and development,Government of India. This honour
is the manifestation of seminal contributions of SSBUICET in rendering
yeomen services in development of Chemical, Food, Environmental and Energy
Sectors with a very strong focus onpost graduate and doctoral programmes
since 1958.

This project is a World Bank initiative to improve efficiency and
effectiveness of the technical education management system.  Under this
project a sum of Rs. 10 crores has been sanctioned by MHRD out of which 75%
will be paid by MHRD and 25% by UT administration.
