Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has extended the last date for submission of online
Application Form for B.Com Centralized Admission in various colleges of Chandigarh up to
June 25. As many as 5733 students have already submitted the applications forms in hard
copy.
However, the last date for submission of Hard copy of the form will remain same i.e.
June 26. The application forms can be submitted by post or by hand up to June 26, 2013
up to 5.00 p.m. at University School of Open Learning Panjab University, Chandigarh.
PU Spokesman said that the decision to extend the last date has been taken to facilitate
the students, who got struck in Uttarakhand. Some students have approached the PU that
they could not submit the form due to technical reasons and some of them had got held up
in Uttarakhand due to land sliding, floods or natural calamity.
There are 1120 seats in Co-Education Colleges, 770 seats in Women Colleges and 140 Seats
in Men’s College in Chandigarh.  Among colleges providing co-education, there are 210
B.Com seats  at D.A.V. College, Sector 10 , 70 seats at Department of Evening Studies,
PU, 280 seats at G.G.S.D. College, Sector 32,  140 seats at Govt. College of Commerce
and Business Administration, Sector 42, 140 seats at Post Graduate Government College,
Sector 46, 280 seats at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector-26.
Among women colleges, there are 140 seats at Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45, 210
seats at M.C.M. D.A.V. College for Women, Sector 36, 140 seats at Guru Gobind Singh
College for Women, Sector-26, 140 seats at Post Graduate Government College for Girls,
Sector 11, 140   seats at Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42. Post
Graduate Government College, Sector 11 is a men’s college and 140 seats are available.
