On the eve of the Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chander Bose, the students, staff
and faculty members of University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) in coordination with
Panjab University (PU) Employees Welfare Organization today organized 4th Blood Donation
Camp in UILS.
PU Dean University Instructions-cum Registrar Prof A K Bhandari along with Dean, Law
Faculty, Mr G K Chatrath, lighted the lamp and inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp. On
this occasion, IAS Retired, Advisor and Secretary of Vice-Chancellor, Mr R K Kapoor,
Dean Research, Prof Lalit Bansal, Dean Students Welfare, Mr Navdeep Goel, Controller of
Examinations, Dr. Parvinder Singh, Executive Engineer Sh. R.K Rai, Director Public
Relations Mr Vineet Punia, Branch Manager, SBI, Sec-14, Mr Anuj Vohra, and Regional
Manager, SBI, Sec-17, Chandigarh, Mr Madhukar Anand were the guests of Honour.
Earlier, UILS Director Prof Sangita Bhalla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and
Blood Donors on behalf of Students, Faculty and Staff Members.
To motivate the blood donors, each donor was awarded certificate along with gift and
refreshment. The camp was jointly supported by State Bank of India and Coca Cola and
Manv Kalyan Prisar (Regd.) Chandigarh. 96 Units of Blood was collected during the said
camp.
Before the Blood Donation Camp, Havan was also performed at UILS which was followed by
Langar.
