It is hereby notified that there will be a Public Holiday within the meaning of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. 1881, on 10^th  April, 2014(Thursday) in the Panjab University offices and Departments situated at Chandigarh on account of Lok Sabha Poll on that day, in terms of the notification of Chandigarh Administration No 6/1/1-1H(1)-2014/5889 dated 1.4.2014

This will be a paid holiday for daily wage employees also.
