CHANDIGARH: December 21: The Roll numbers of all the eligible candidates of Chandigarh
Centre-48 for the forthcoming UGC-NET Examination for Junior Research Fellowship and
Eligibility for Lectureship scheduled to be held on December 26, 2010 were dispatched
by U.P.C. nearly two weeks ago.
    However, some candidates daily come to the Coordinator Prof. V.K. Walia’s
office in the department of Zoology, Panjab University for non-receipt of the roll
number.
    Those who have not received the roll numbers should come to the office after
down loading Admission card from the UGC website alongwith two passport-sized
photographs duly attested by a gazetted officer for issuing of fresh roll number,
informed coordinator, UGC-NET, Prof. V.K. Walia of the Panjab University Zoology
department.
    Also, the candidates of Visually Handicapped category, who have not requested
the coordinator for a scribe, may do so before the date of examination.  As per UGC
guidelines, no candidate can bring his/her own scribe.
