Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh Vice Chancellor (VC), Prof Arun Kumar Grover received two new AC buses at Student Centre, PU campus today.

Two buses have been purchased from the Rs. 1 crore MPLADS funds, which was provided by the then Member of Parliament (2009-14) and PU Fellow, Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal from his MPLADS funds for the Chandigarh Region Innovation and Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC) institutions. Rest of the funds would be utilized for the establishment of CRIKC infrastructure.

PU DUI Prof AK Bhandari, Registrar, Col GS Chadha (Retd.), CRIKC Coordinator Prof Rupinder Tewari, Prof Manmohan Gupta, DSW Prof Navdeep Goyal, PU Campus Students Council President and office bearers were also present on the occasion. It may be recalled that Prof Manmohan Gupta and Prof Tewari have played active roles in this regard.

The buses would touch all the CRIKC institutions on daily basis so that the CRIKC facilities could be optimally utilized.
