Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has announced the Admission and Entrance Tests Schedule of various courses for academic session 2015-16 in the PU campus. The students seeking admissions at various undergraduate and postgraduate courses can now apply as per respective entrance test schedule, whereas the admissions for LL.B (3 year), M.Ed and M.Phil/Ph.D would start later.    

The interested students can apply through online admission applications at the respective website of the concerned entrance examination of PU. It is the first time when PU has announced all the admission and entrance tests schedule simultaneously.

The Handbook of Information would be available from May 29 and the last date for receipt of application form in the concerned department would be June 29. All the students, clearing various Entrance Tests of PU would also have to apply to respective department during the period.

The students seeking admissions in various Under-Graduate courses like B.Pharma and various Hons. School Bachelor Degree Courses can apply upto April 28 at http://cetug.puchd.ac.in. The entrance test CET-UG 2015 would be conducted on May 23, 2015.

The students, seeking admissions for the B.A/B. Com. LL.B (Hons.) (Five Years Integrated Courses), can apply up to April 15 at http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in/. The entrance tests would be conducted on May 16.

The students seeking admissions in various Post-Graduate courses can apply up to May 12 at http://cetpg.puchd.ac.in/. The entrance tests would be conducted on June 13 & 14, 2015.

The students seeking admissions for the LL.B (3 Years) Course would be able to apply from April 16 to May 27 at http://pglaw.puchd.ac.in/. The entrance tests would be conducted on June 21.

The students seeking admissions for pursuing M.Phil & Ph.D in the Faculties of Arts, Business Management & Commerce, Design & fine Arts, Engineering, Languages, Law, and Science would be able to apply from May 19 to June 29 at http://phdadmissions.puchd.ac.in. The entrance tests would be conducted on July 18.

The students seeking admissions for M.Ed would be able to apply from April 22 to June 2 at http://medadmissions.puchd.ac.in. The entrance tests would be conducted on July 27.

The Applications for PUTHAT entrance test for applications for the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) can be submitted upto April 13 at http://puthat.puchd.ac.in/. The entrance test would be conducted on May 3.

The applications for MBA (Executive) from distance learning would be submitted from May 26 to July 6 at http://mbaoffcampus.puchd.ac.in/index.php. The entrance test would be conducted on July 26.

Addressing a press conference today, PU Dean University Instructions Prof. AK Bhandari and PU Controller of Examination Dr. Parvinder Singh informed that the admissions to the most of the first year classes in Bachelor, Post Graduate and Ph.D courses would be conducted through various Entrance tests like Combined Entrance Test(CET) Under Graduate(UG), CET(Post Graduate), Three Year LLB Entrance Test, Five Year LLB Entrance Test, M.Ed Entrance Test, M.Phil and Ph.D Entrance Test etc.
