Six leading Engineering and Architecture institutes of Chandigarh and Hoshiarpur would conduct Joint Admissions for the session 2015-16.

Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (UICET), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh (formerly Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Chandigarh) would conduct Joint Admissions for the session 2015-2016 for the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), PU; UIET PU SSG Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur; PEC University of Technology, Sector 12, Chandigarh (formerly Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh); Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Sector-26 Chandigarh and Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA), Sector 12, Chandigarh  and UICET, PU. The admissions would be conducted by Joint Admission Committee (JAC) under the Chairmanship of Chairperson UICET Prof. Meenakshi Goyal.

Prof Goyal informed that the students may tentatively submit online applications after July 6 at the ‘www.chdenggadmissions.nic.in’. The detailed information Brochure has been displayed on Joint Admission website.

She informed that the all India Rank prepared by CBSE on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-2015 and normalised score in Class 12 or equivalent qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively) would be used for admission to B.E./B. Tech. and B. Architecture for JAC-2015. The cut off marks/criteria for eligibility for various categories shall be decided by CBSE on the declaration of the result of JEE (Main)-2015, she added.
