Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has invited applications for admission to M.Ed. (Regular) in Department of Education, PU & its affiliated Colleges situated in UT (Chandigarh) and Punjab and M.Ed. Special (Mental Retardation), RIMH, Chandigarh for the session 2015-17. Candidates interested in the M.Ed. (Regular) and M.Ed. Special (Mental Retardation), RIMH, who have cleared the entrance examination can apply online for admissions till July 31, 2015 through the website http://medadmissions.puchd.ac.in The hard copy of the same online application form along with attested copies of relevant documents has to be submitted either by hand or by speed post/ registered post before August 5, 2015 by 4 PM in the office of Coordinator, M.Ed. Admissions, Room No. 6, Department of Education, Arts Block No. II, PU, Sector 14, Chandigarh. The complete set of documents to be submitted will include Hard copy of online admission form; Copy of Mark-sheet of qualifying examination (B.Ed.); Copy of Matriculation certificate for proof of date of birth; Copy/ copies of certificate for claiming seat against reserved category (if any) ; certificate supporting the claims for the weightages claimed; Copy of admit card of entrance test and Downloaded copy of result as per guidelines displayed on PU website. The admission will be through centralized face to face counselling and it is mandatory for every candidate to be present at the counselling. Dates and venue for the counselling will be notified through the university website at http://medadmissions.puchd.ac.in . The candidate will not be allowed to make any changes in the online admission form and hard copy of the same by way of any addition, deletion, alteration, amendment or change under any circumstances after the last due dates as decided and intimated by the university through its website. The forms received after the prescribed date and time of July 31, 2015 (online) by 4 PM and August 5, 2015 (hard copy of the online form) by 4 PM, will not be entertained under any circumstances. Incomplete Admission Forms (in any manner) and those received after prescribed date & time i.e. July 31, 2015 (online) by 4 PM and August 5, 2015 (printout) by 4 PM shall not be entertained under any circumstances whatsoever, regardless of the fact whether the application is sent by post or through courier or by any other means. The Panjab University does not undertake any responsibility for any postal delay or delay in delivery by courier or by any other means or for loss in transit of the ADMISSION FORM. However, the candidates may submit application form PERSONALLY at the respective addresses mentioned earlier for M.Ed. (Regular) and M.Ed. Special Education (MR) by the due date and time to avoid delay/ hardship.
