The Department of University Centre for Instrumentation & Microelectronics (UCIM), Panjab University (PU) has invited applications for the M.Tech. (Instrumentation) Course.

Eight seats are available in M.Tech.(Instrumentation) Course for filling up from amongst the eligible candidates.  The candidate thus desirous of taking up the vacant seats may apply on the admission form available at http://forms.puchd.ac.in to the Director, UCIM, P.U. Chandigarh latest by August 10 upto 5 PM.                   

Admission to M.Tech (Instrumentation) will be made by admitting GATE qualified candidates. The seats shall be allotted based on the merit of amongst the eligible candidates of the admission criteria, which gives 50 percent weightage each to GATE Score and Academic Weightage.

Academic Weightage will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the qualifying examination (B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc.). 

The date of Counselling/Interview of eligible candidates would be conducted on August 12 at 9.30 AM.  The venue of the Counselling would be at Seminar Hall, UCIM department, PU.  Candidate has to be personally present at the time of counselling alongwith the of original certificates D.O.B., Matriculation certificate; D.M.C.’s of qualifying exams; GATE Score Card; Gap year affidavit (if applicable) and Caste certificate (if applicable).
