University Institute of Engineering and Technology, (UIET), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has extended the last date to apply for admissions to the ME Electrical (Power Systems). The applicants can apply upto August 3 by 5 PM in UIET office, Block I, Sector 25.

The entrance exam would be conducted on August 4 at 10 to 11.30 AM. The result would be declared and displayed on August 4 at 5 PM. The counseling would be conducted on August 6. For reserved Category, the counseling would be from 9:30 to 11 AM and for General category, it would be from 12 noon onwards.

Admissions to the vacant seats would be solely on the basis of entrance exam. Candidates can download the form available on UIET website. The information brochure is available on UIET website.

Eligibility is 60% Marks in BE/BTech. Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics. Syllabus would be as per Electrical Engineering GATE 2015.

The Candidates have been asked to report at the venue 30 minutes before the start of the exam with a valid identity proof, without which the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
