Taking a major step towards simplification of official procedures, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has decided to do away the need of Gazetted Officers or Principal attestation for submitting Examination Form hardcopy after completing of on-line process.

PU Spokesman today informed that now onwards only self-attestation by the candidates would be required. The private candidates would only have to prove their Photo Identity through any Proof like Aadhar Card, Passport, Valid Driving License or any Photo Identity Proof issued by the Government.

He informed that the hard copy of the Self-attested examination form along with copy of photo identity proof can be sent by registered post also to the office of Deputy Registrar (Examination), PU.
