Panjab University is holding its 66^th Annual Convocation on March 25, 2017 in the Gymnasium Hall, Panjab University Chandigarh Shri M. Hamid Ansari, Hon’ble Vice-President of India and Chancellor, Panjab University will be the Chief Guest. The rehearsal will be held on March 24. 2017, 2.00 p.m. onwards in the Gymnasium hall of PU. In this regards below mentioned Security measures / step are to be taken.

1. “NO VEHICLE ROAD” The VVIP route will be from Gate No-I via Administrative block, Chemistry department and Physics department road up to Gymnasium Hall.

(a) This route will not be allowed for public from 10.00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  on 25^th Mar 2017. 

1. No vehicles will be allowed to be parked on this route road on 24^th and 25^th of Mar 2017.

1. Please park your vehicles in their respective / designated parking only.
2. Residents / visitors of Panjab University should not park their vehicles anywhere on the road sides in the PU campus on March 24 and March 25, 2017. If any vehicles is found parked in the unauthorized area it will be tow- away by the traffic police of Chandigarh.

1. Gate timing for general  public on 25^th  March 2017

1. Gate No-1:   Will remain open for entry and exit from 06.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and after 01.00 p.m.

No vehicles will be allowed from gate no-1 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

1. Gate No-2: Will remain open for entry and exit throughout.
2. Gate No-3:  Will remain open for entry and exit from 06: 00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

            All the Panjab University residents, students and visitors are requested to follow the above mentioned instructions for the smooth conduct of the Convocation.  Inconvenience if any is regretted
